Milwaukee police issued almost 3,800 parking citations to people who failed to comply with parking rules when they were changed by Saturday’s snow emergency.
Police say 142 were second violators, meaning they have to pay a $100 fine.
The snow emergency was extended to this morning.
The Department of Public Works says it’s important to cooperate so crews and equipment can get access to the streets they need to clear away the snow and ice.
