Markus Howard’s 42 points led Marquette to an 84-80 victory at Georgetown Saturday.
That win evened the Golden Eagles’ Big East Conference record at 3-3.
Marquette hit some clutch free throws down the stretch to hold on to the victory – included four straight by Koby McEwen.
The Golden Eagles (13-5, 3-3) return home Tuesday to face St. John’s in the annual Al’s Night game, honoring legendary coach Al McGuire.
