The Wisconsin men’s hockey team salvaged a split of the weekend series against Michigan State with a 3-1 decision Saturday at the Kohl Center.
Roman Ahcan snapped the 1-1 tie with just over two minutes left against the Spartans.
After being blanked Friday night, the Badgers scored just 26 seconds into the second game when freshman forward Owen Lindmark found the range.
Wisconsin (9-12-1, 4-9-1-1 Big Ten) also got an empty-net goal from Ty Pelton-Bryce.
The Badgers travel to Notre Dame next weekend.
