A man was taken into custody over the weekend for his connection to a shooting in Fond du Lac.
The incident occurred yesterday in the 500 block of East Division Street.
Police were dispatched to that location on a report of a man with a gunshot wound and found a 49 year old Oshkosh man who was shot in the torso.
His current medical situation is not known, but we do know he was transported to St. Agnes Hospital before being airlifted to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee.
An arrest was quickly made, with a 70 year old suspect now sitting in the Fond du Lac County Jail.
No names or other details in the case have been released, and police say they are not looking for any other suspects at this time.
