The Milwaukee Bucks needed every bit of the big lead they had built up when Boston mounted a furious fourth-quarter rally Thursday night.
The Bucks held on for a 128-123 win over their Eastern Conference rivals despite 40 points from Celtics point guard Kemba Walker.
Giannis Antetokounmpo did most of the heavy lifting on the homecourt, scoring 32 points, grabbing 17 rebounds and handing out seven assists.
Khris Middleton scored 23 and Donte DiVincenzo came off the bench with 19.
Milwaukee’s next game is Saturday at the Barclays Center against the Brooklyn Nets.
