A fire broke out at a paper converting facility in Green Bay last night.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department was called to Sofidel America in the 2200 block of Larsen Road at around 10:00 PM and found the million square foot warehouse filled with smoke.
Crews found that the fire had started in a converting machine and were able to quickly extinguish it.
According to the fire department, the company has evacuation plan in place for just such a situation, so everyone was able to escape without injury.
The fire caused an estimated $250,000 in damage.
