Both Marquette and Xavier need a victory in the worst way when they meet in a Big East Conference showdown tonight (Wednesday).
The Golden Eagles and the Musketeers have both dropped two games in-a-row.

Marquette and Xavier will become familiar with each other this month.
The teams will meet twice in the next four games – with a rematch in Cincinnati January 29th.
