Wisconsin’s 4th District Court of Appeals is putting on hold an order to remove the names of 209-thousand people from the state’s voter register rolls. The stay of Ozaukee County Judge Paul Malloy’s contempt order also puts on hold fines he imposed on Democratic members of the Wisconsin Elections Commission. The appeals court granted the Department of Justice’s stay request just one day after the Wisconsin Supreme Court declined to take over the appeal in the case. President Trump won Wisconsin by less than 23-thousand votes in 2016. Trump is appearing a campaign rally tonight at U-W Panther Arena in Milwaukee.
