Legislature Works On Eye Witness Protection

Republican lawmakers are working on a package of bills designed to make sure witnesses and victims feel safe when they go to court.  State Senator Alberta Darling introduced the proposed laws Monday which creates tougher sentences for crimes like intimidating the victims of domestic violence.  Supporters say they want judges to have the tools they need to make testifying easier.
