Franklin College in Indiana has fired it’s president after he was arrested in Sturgeon Bay on suspicion of using a computer to facilitate a sex crime, and attempted child enticement.
Thomas Minar was taken into custody on January 6th, and released on a $7,500 cash bond following his hearing.
Franklin College says it’s Board of Trustees Executive Committee “felt like it was essential to act immediately and sever his relationship” with the college.
The prosecutor says she expects to file official charges in the next couple days.
Minar announced last year he planned to step down as president in June of this year.
