Gas prices in the area rose slightly from last week, but still remain below the national average.
According to the AAA Weekly Fuel Gage, in Brown County, the average price is at $2.404, while Appleton’s price is only 0.4 cents more expensive.
In Manitowoc County, the price is listed at just shy of $2.50, the highest in Eastern Wisconsin while Sheboygan County’s average is only $2.445.
The national average is at $2.575, which is 13.3 cents more expensive than the average price in Wisconsin.
