Sturgeon Bay police say a 27-year-old car theft suspect spit at officers and threatened to kill them as he was being taken into custody Monday night.
Jacob Miller sits in the Door County Jail facing multiple charges.
Officers were told a car had been stolen just after 11:00 p.m. and a few minutes later Miller was found trying to hide in a garage.
A police dog helped track him down.
He faces at least five charges and police say he damaged a squad car while resisting arrest.
