The Two Rivers City Council held their monthly meeting on Monday, and covered a wide variety of topics.
City Manager Greg Buckley was on the WCUB Breakfast Club yesterday, and explained that the Council is going through the use permits in the different districts.
According to Buckley, they have been “reviewing uses that should be added or deleted. Maybe changed from conditional uses to permitted or vise versa.”
The council has already gone through the conservancy districts, and the industrial districts, with the business districts coming up next month.
Barb Schweitzer, the President of the Friends of the Two Rivers Senior Center was also on hand with a special gift for the council.
The Friends presented a check worth $12,484. To the council which came from the Senior Center Memberships in the past year.
The Council also held a discussion regarding a noise complain from several residents who live across the river from an unnamed bar.
They told the council that at night the music playing at the bar would hinder their ability to sleep.
