Influenza cases appear to be on the rise locally and statewide.
Dr. Tina Ozbeki, a family medicine physician with Prevea Health in Manitowoc, told SeehaferNews.com, “The best way to prevent getting the flu besides obviously the vaccine, is with good hand hygiene.”
She recommends that people wash their hands regularly so they don’t pass the virus along to others.
Dr. Ozbecki made those comments during an appearance on 1240 AM WOMT’s Prevea Health Matters Program, which airs Monday’s from 11:30 to Noon.
