There were no explosions and no injuries, but a gas leak forced the evacuation of Edgerton High School Tuesday.
Crews from the Edgerton Fire Department responded in the early afternoon.
Students were sent to the middle school while the gas was turned off and the buildings were checked out.
High school students returned to their classrooms at about 2:00 P-M and buses ran at their normal times when the school day was over.
