The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly reached an agreement with former Milwaukee pitcher Jimmy Nelson on a one-year contract.
The deal announced in Los Angeles could be worth 13-million dollars over two years if Nelson qualifies under the vesting option.
Nelson was once the Brewers’ top pitcher, but a devastating shoulder injury suffered in the 2017 season put his promising career on hold.
He struggled with control as he tried to come back last season, although he did finish with three scoreless outings.
