A 21-year-old Fond du Lac man will spend the rest of his life in prison after his conviction on a charge of first-degree intentional homicide.
Nigel Schultz was sentenced Tuesday in a Dodge County courtroom.
Schultz shot Bradlee Gerke 16 times in the back of the head and body because he thought the victim was going to turn him in to police.
Prosecutors say he bragged about the murder.
Schultz had already been convicted on 10 felony charges before he killed Gerke – all committed before he turned 18 years old.
