The HSHS Eastern Wisconsin Division has placed all of the hospitals under their umbrella on new visitor restrictions due to the increase in influenza cases.
St. Vincent Hospital, St. Vincent Children’s Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay, St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, and St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls are all affected by the change.
Visitors who are under the age of 12, as well as any visitors with any flu-like symptoms, will not be allowed to visit any patients, and only one or two people will be allowed to visit a patient at a time.
It is important to note that these restrictions and guidelines are not in place for a pediatric patient coming to one of the hospitals for an outpatient appointment.
Exceptions will be made based on special patient needs that allow families to be with their loved ones.
These cases can be discussed with each individual patient’s care team.
