A fourth-quarter fumble by the Badgers opened the door for the game-winning touchdown by Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert in the Rose Bowl.
The Wisconsin Badgers (10-4) dominated the statistics and led a good portion of the game, but finally fell by a 28-27 score New Year’s Day.
In what may be his final game for Wisconsin, running back Jonathan Taylor rushed for 94 yards on 21 carries.
Quarterback Jack Coan completed 23-of-35 passes for 186 yards and a T-D.
The Badger defense held Oregon to 204 total yards, but Wisconsin had four turnovers – including the one which set up the game-deciding play by Herbert.
