With Minnesota’s two best players sidelined, the Milwaukee Bucks figured to win Wednesday’s game – and they did, it was just a lot closer than expected.
Led by 32 points and 17 rebounds from Giannis Antetokoummpo, the Bucks ran their latest winning streak to five-in-a-row with a narrow 106-104 decision.
The Timberwolves kept the score close throughout the game – even though Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins weren’t playing.
Milwaukee puts its 31-and-5 record on the line Saturday when San Antonio visits the Fiserv Forum.
