Schaus Roofing and Mechanical Contractors, a fixture in the local roofing industry for over 90 years, announced today that Crafts Inc. has officially purchased their “Roofing Department” assets and renamed the brand “Schaus Roofing Services a division of Crafts Inc.” Crafts Inc. has serviced the commercial and industrial roofing needs of northeastern Wisconsin and beyond since 1946. The Schaus family has renamed their continuing Mechanical and HV AC operations as Schaus Mechanical Inc.
In a news release, the local business stated that they have grown to become a significant factor in the aforementioned industries and in an effort to further their focus on those talents, they reached out to Crafts Inc. with an idea of partnering in the roofing industry.
The acquisition was completed at the end of 2019 and recognizing the legacy of the Schaus family’s roofing efforts, Crafts Inc. created the “Schaus Roofing Services-a division of Crafts Inc.” as part of their brand. Both local entities emphasize that although the department name and how the phone is answered may be different, the joint Crafts Inc. and Schaus Family commitments to roofing remain the same.
