It didn’t look like the Sheboygan County Salvation Army was going to reach their Red Kettle Donation Campaign goal, but a late surge of volunteers, and donations pushed them over the top.
Carry Jo Cony, Development Director of the Sheboygan Salvation Army reported that as of Friday, donations totaled just $10,000 shy of the $150,000 goal.
She said that on Christmas Eve alone, they received over $9,000 in donations in the Red Kettles.
They are expected to have around a half million dollars in funding thanks to the Red Kettle campaign and a corporate campaign as well.
