A motorist escaped injury late yesterday afternoon when the pickup truck she was operating flipped onto its’ side while traveling on Manitowoc’s 10th Street Bridge.
Lieutenant Mark Schroeder said it had begun snowing at the time of the mishap, just after 4pm.
The driver of the 1998 Ford Ranger pickup was a Manitowoc woman whose name has not been released.
Lt. Schroeder tells SeehaferNews.com that his agency, along with members of Manitowoc Fire & Rescue, was joined at the scene by Ramirez Towing.
Southbound traffic over the 10th Street bridge was restricted to one lane until the scene was cleared by 5:20pm.
