A New Year means it’s time for the Manitowoc Police Department’s Annual “10 Most Wanted Food Drive”.
Each year the MPD hosts a four month long food drive, with each month having a different theme.
For example, in January the theme is SOUPER Bowl, meaning they will be collecting soups.
People who wish to participate can donate at a variety of locations, including the Police Department, The Manitowoc Public Library, the Manitowoc Senior Center, Pick ‘N Save, and Rob’s Family Market.
All items donated will be given to Peter’s Pantry to help them restock their shelves after the holiday season.
So when you go to the grocery store the next time, consider picking up item or two that corresponds with the theme of the month, and donate to help your community.
