Gas prices will end the year with a slight uptick in most places across the state.
In Green Bay the average price rose 3/10ths of a cent up to $2.80, while in Appleton gas now costs $2.352, a half a cent higher than last week.
The price at the pump is significantly higher than it was to end 2018, and many places across the state were at or below $2.00. Green Bay started the year at $1.997, while Appleton was only 8/10ths of a cent lower.
The average price across the state to end the year is $2.408, which is 17 cents below the national average.
Appleton actually has the lowest gas prices in the state this week, while Eau Claire has the highest at $2.469.
