One of the hardest parts of watching a loved one grow older is making the choice to admit them to an assisted living home. Sometimes the loved one can take care of themselves, but the family is still concerned for their safety. Felician Village has created a program called Felician Village at Home, which helps bring peace of mind to families of elderly people living independently.
Megan Bruckschen of Felician Village told SeehaferNews.com that the program is “designed to support people that are still living independently in their own homes.” As for why Felician Village decided to launch this program, Bruckschen said “We saw a need in the community, in an area that we could give our services to people that, for whatever reason, aren’t ready to, or can’t or don’t need to be on our campus yet, but still need a little bit of support.” Bruckschen said that “Felician Village at Home is open to anyone in Manitowoc County, 55 and older, living independently.”
