Th man struck by a train on Christmas Eve in Waukesha did not survive his injuries.
Police say the 33-year-old man from Chicago died Thursday in the hospital. Investigators believe he was walking home from work while wearing headphones and didn’t hear the train coming. The conductor saw the man on the railroad tracks, but the train was unable to stop in time.
The victim’s name, cause and manner of death haven’t been released. The incident remains under investigation.
