Police in Madison are naming the suspect in a Christmas Eve murder.
Officers say John G. Green is in the Dane County jail on a first-degree intentional homicide charge.
Investigators say a woman was shot and killed in a home on Tuesday afternoon.
The victim hasn’t been identified.
Authorities do not believe there is any danger to the public.
