The animals at the Fox Valley Humane Society received a very special treat yesterday.
After families were done celebrating the holiday, many made their way to the Appleton based animal shelter to give the animals a day of play, and time out of their cage.
Hundreds of people came to the Shelter and played with the cats, dogs, and rabbits, to make sure even our furry friends had a Merry Christmas.
Vicki Prey, Executive Director for the Fox Valley Humane Association reacted to the number of people that came by saying, “It’s so heartwarming that so many people wanted to come in and just show the animals in the shelter some affection and some love and to let them know that they will find a home.”
