Former Bucks coach George Karl and former Wisconsin men’s coach Bo Ryan are among 50 nominees for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
Karl lead the Milwaukee NBA team from 1998 to 2003, and gurided the “Big Three” of Glenn Robinson, Ray Allen and Sam Cassell to their first division championship in 15 years.
Ryan actually had two stints with the Badgers, as he was an assistant coach from 1976-1984, and was the head coach from 2001-2015.
The finalists will be announced during All-Star Weekend in Chicago.
The Class of 2020 will be revealed at the Final Four.
