The Green Bay Police are investigating a potential case of animal cruelty.
The investigation began after a member of the city’s Public Works Department found an abandoned suitcase in a ditch on Emmet Street at around 10:00 AM on Monday.
The bag contained a dead puppy described as a black and white Pitbull terrier, who was estimated to only be 4 to 6 months old.
The bag was in a blue suitcase with black trim, and wheels.

The GBPD urges people who no longer want a pet to turn it over to an animal shelter, and if your pet dies, to properly dispose of the body.
