A 28-year-old sex offender will be residing in Two Rivers. Police are informing citizens that Brian J. Callahan who was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography in Manitowoc County has served the sentence imposed on him by the court and will reside at 2002 Jefferson Street effective January 7.
Callahan is 6’01” tall, weighs 277 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is required to follow rules as established by the Department of Corrections, register with the Sex Offender Registration Program and comply with GPS monitoring for life. Callahan is on extended supervision until 2025 but authorities emphasize that he is not wanted by police at this time and any citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass him will not be tolerated.
Police add that this notification is not intended to increase fear, rather it’s their belief that it creates a safer, well-informed public.
