Incumbent Mike Williams will have at least one challenger for his seat representing District Eight on the Manitowoc Common Council.
Bill Schlei has turned in his nomination papers to challenge Williams for a two-year term. Mr. Williams has yet to file. Anyone with intentions of running or file “non-candidacy”, must turn in papers by 5 p.m. January 7.
A primary, if necessary, would be held in February with the Spring General Election to be held on Tuesday, April 7.
