Wisconsin-based Jack Link’s says it did extensive testing of its flooded plant in Bellevue, Nebraska before decided not to reopen it.
About 60 people worked there before the floodwaters covered it last March.
Millions of dollars in damage was done at nearby Offutt Air Force Base.
Jack Link’s is headquartered in Minong.
A company spokesperson says it is working to find jobs for those affected at other plants in the Midwest.
