AAA is predicting that there will be a record breaking number of people traveling for the holiday season this year.
Their studies are predicting that 115.6 million people will be taking planes trains and automobiles all over the country to celebrate Christmas with families.
Of that number, nearly 105 million are expected to drive themselves, while nearly 7 million will take to the skies, and 3.8 million will travel by bus, train or cruise ship.
Nick Jarmusz, Director of Public Affairs for AAA says that “Holiday cheer is at an all-time high this year, with unemployment at historically low levels, and noted improvements in both disposable income and household net worth.”
For those planning to drive, AAA has some good news for you.
Gas prices are expected to drop in time for the holidays, with Shell Gas Stations expected to have the lowest prices.
