The Oshkosh West High School student that is facing charges after allegedly stabbing the School Resource Officer is being tried as an adult, and is being held on a $1 million bond.
16 year Old Grant Fuhrman reportedly was shot by SRO Michael Wissink right after the attack, but has since recovered from his injuries.
Details of the attack have since come out. Fuhrman reportedly smuggled a two pronged BBQ fork into the school in his waistband, and attacked Wissink at an expulsion hearing.
Wissink said that he believed Fuhrman was trying to kill him, and had “no doubt” the attack was pre-planned.
Fuhrman is charged with Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide, and could spend up to 40 years in prison, with an additional 20 years of extended supervision.
