Jury selection was held yesterday for a child abuse case in Sheboygan County.
Michael Childress is facing charges after he allegedly stomped on his 5 year old son’s head.
The child’s mother was the one who reported Childress, and did so after she noticed marks on the boy.
She asked him what happened and he eventually admitted that Childress had stomped on his head, after first insisting that he stepped on his own head.
The mother also told authorities that Childress had punch the boy in the chest several times in October of last year.
The trial will continue throughout the week, with Childress facing up to 50 year in prison for Felony Abuse of a Child.
