Bail is set at $2,500 cash for an 18-year-old Manitowoc man accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. Korshaun Walcott is facing charges of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a child, delivery of Marijuana and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Walcott was taken into custody Wednesday after the minor female told police that he had sexually assaulted her in late October. She said that she had been “hanging out” with Walcott and his female roommate at their house and smoked marijuana with him on his bed and passed out. When she awoke she found him having sex with her. After initially backing off, Walcott allegedly started having sex with the victim again. After telling him no a second time she asked for a ride home, all of which he denied ever happened.
Conditions of bail are that Walcott have “no contact” with anyone under the age of 18-report to MPD for photos and prints upon release and maintain absolute sobriety except for prescribed medications taken in prescribed doses. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for Monday at 1:30.
