The FORWARD Endowment, a Manitowoc County trust established to fund projects focused on hunting, fishing, conservation & related education, is now accepting requests for its’ 2019 funding cycle.
FORWARD stands for Friends of Resources, Wildlife & Recreational Development and was founded by the Manitowoc Unit of County Fish & Game. There’s a simple application form asking for details of the requests and related projects. Those projects must have a public benefit and tie to hunting, fishing, conservation and be based in Manitowoc County.
Leede Research is again coordinating the gifting process and aiding in filling grant request materials. The group has ‘automated’ the applications, which are available through the home page of www.mantyfg.org website.
FORWARD Endowment will accept grant applications through December 27th with the actual selection made at the Gift Committee’s meeting in February.
2019 is the 25th anniversary of the trust and it has distributed over $120-thousand dollars in grants, countywide.
