The Menomonee Falls Board of Education has decided to retire the Indians name that district sports teams have been using for years.
Despite a community outcry, the board made the decision Monday night. Superintendent Corey Golla says the name is no longer a rallying point for the community.
There has been no suggestion about what the new name for the district sports teams might be.
