Eau Claire Sets Snow Record – 100 Inches In 2019

Meteorologists say this week’s snowfall in Eau Claire has pushed the city over 100 inches for 2019.  That record is unofficial because the National Weather Service only measures snowfall on a winter-by-winter basis and not by the calendar year.  Unofficially, this is the snowiest calendar year in Eau Claire in 126 years.  The city was inundated by nearly 84 inches of snow in 2013.
