
Mike Peterson, Board Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Manitowoc County, announced today that Hung Nguyen has joined their team as their new Executive Director.
Nguyen comes to Manitowoc from Green Bay where he recently served as Executive Director at the Richard Mauthe Center for faith-spirituality and Social Justice at the UW-Green Bay Campus. He also worked in leadership and management capacities at St. Norbert College the Multicultural Community Center of Green Bay and Green Bay Habitat for Humanity.
Nguyen’s responsibilities at BBBS will be assuming overall leadership which includes strategy deployment, operations, fundraising and assuring programming meets the needs of children within the area.
In a news release, Peterson says of Nguyen “We are so fortunate to have a professional with Hung’s knowledge and experience join our organization and community. Hung brings outstanding leadership skills and a passion for working with children as well, which is an essential quality at Big Brothers Big Sisters.”
