The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has revealed its three-year fish stocking plan for Lake Michigan.
State scientists say they will make substantial increases in the number of salmon and trout in the lake.
400,000 Chinook salmon and 450,000 brown trout will be added each year. Thousands of Coho salmon and steelhead trout will also be added – and brook trout will be re-introduced in the lake.
