Three Manitowoc residents taken into custody over the weekend on multiple drug charges are free on recognizance bonds after appearing for bail hearings this afternoon.
28-year-old Adam W. Zipperer and 35-year-old Gary L. Schultz are free on $1500 signature bonds and charged with possession of a schedule 1 or 2 narcotic and drug paraphernalia. 30-year-old Brooke M. Zipperer is free on a $2500 signature bond and faces similar charges as the two male defendants plus possession of methamphetamine.
Police responded to the 800 block of Lawton Terrace around 7:45 Saturday evening as a vehicle matching the description of one they were looking for was parked in the driveway. A search for one of the suspects in the basement led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. A complete search of the residence uncovered more drug paraphernalia along with various drugs including heroin.
Bail conditions for all three defendants include “no contact” with any known drug dealers or users, report for photos and prints upon release and maintain absolute sobriety. All are scheduled to make initial court appearances on December 30th at 1:30.
