Running back Aaron Jones rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown, catching six passes for 58 more yards, in Green Bay’s 20-15 win over Washington Sunday.
The Pack had a 14-point lead after the first period, then didn’t do much the rest of the way. Defensive lineman Kenny Clark had his best game of the season with one-and-a-half sacks.
Tyler Ervin returned three punts for 40 yards. Green Bay came into the game with negative yardage on punt returns for the first 12 games of the season.
The mistake-filled victory keeps the Packers in first place in the N-F-C North by a game over Minnesota, and makes Coach Matt LaFluer the winningest rookie coach in Packer history.
The team goes for its 11th win next Sunday at home against Chicago.
