
Markus Howard returned to the Marquette lineup Saturday, putting a game-high 19 points on the board.
The Golden Eagles weathered a late-game rally by Kansas State to claim a 73-65 win. Jamal Cain scored 17 and Sacar Anim 13 for Marquette (7-2).
Marquette contributed to the close score by committing 18 turnovers.
Howard had missed the last game while he was in the concussion protocol.
The Golden Eagles have a 10-day break, then host Grambling State at the Fiserv Forum December 17th.
