It is the season of giving, and a local restaurant is in the spirit. Myke and Shannon Hollahan, the owners of Holla, announced on Facebook recently their Holla Back Pizza promotion. Myke said “We wanted to create the Holla Back pizza to support the community that has supported us so much.
The Hollahans will be donating 10% of their sales of whatever specialty pizza they have on the menu throughout the month to a local charity. For the month of December, the charity is the Lighthouse Recovery Community Center.
Shannon said that Lighthouse is “a great place…They are helping so many people, and we really wanted them to be the first charity that we gave to.”
The current Holla Back pizza is called The Big Bad Wolf, which has pork belly, house-made sausage, ham, roasted corn, caramelized onion, and a creamy smoked jalapeno and garlic sauce, and is topped with a three-cheese blend. The pizza costs $20, with a calzone version at $12.
Holla will be celebrating its one year anniversary on December 13th.
