Three days after the Milwaukee Brewers non-tendered their two busiest relievers during the 2019 season, the team has signed Justin Grimm.
The 31-year-old served as a bullpen piece for the Central Division-rival Chicago Cubs for five seasons ending in 2017.
Grimm has pitched in the big leagues for seven seasons. He spent all of last season at Triple-A for the Dodgers and Reds.
At least five pitchers who logged serious time out of the Brewers bullpen last season are no longer with the team.
