The week of school threats of violence in Wisconsin continued in Sturgeon Bay yesterday.
While no actual violence occurred, a 17 year old student at Sturgeon Bay High School was arrested by police after he made a “non-specific threat” against the school on social media.
Details of the threat have not been released, but the Sturgeon Bay police say that the school and public are not in any danger at this time.
The student remains incarcerated in the Door County Jail awaiting charges by the District Attorney’s office.
This threat comes during a week where student violence-related incidents occurred at both Waukesha South, and Oshkosh West High Schools. At last word, both students and the School Resource Officer at Oshkosh West are recovering from their injuries.
