The University of Wisconsin-Madison says a 75-year-old employee has died from injuries he suffered in a fall last weekend.
Robert Vergara was working on the Madison campus early Saturday morning when he fell and hit his head. A second employee called 9-1-1 and Vergara was taken to a hospital.
He died two days later.
The fatal accident is being investigated by the school and the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
